Nogales MVD office to temporarily close, for remodeling | Business
The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division is temporarily closing its Nogales Motor Vehicle Department, for remodeling.
The closure will last from June 19 to June 27, and will reopen for normal business on June 28. The MVD office is located at 3030 North Grand Avenue in Nogales.
Remodeling efforts, aimed at improving customer service, will include the redesigning of office spaces to create improvements to the areas where MVD transactions are conducted. These enhancements are being implemented to further enhance the quality of service being provided to customers at the workstations in order to better facilitate the conducting of driver license and motor vehicle transactions.
While the building is being remodeled, the actual office will be closed, but an MVD employee will be on site, outside the office, near the front door to receive voter registrations or to answer MVD related questions.
Motor Vehicle offices in Green Valley, Sierra Vista and Tucson will still be open for business.
The Green Valley office (approximately 35 miles from the Nogales location) is at 601 N. La Canada Drive #102, Green Valley 85614 and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (No road testing performed at this facility. Arrive before 4 p.m. for a vehicle inspection and before 4:30 p.m. for other transactions.)
Customers are reminded that www.ServiceArizona.com can be utilized to conduct many driver license or motor vehicle transactions such as obtaining a duplicate license or I.D. card, change of address, registration renewal, purchasing special plates or temporary permits.
