Tubac Presidio State Historic Park will participate in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013.

On May 27, a diverse group of fifty five individuals will begin a 75-mile walk to call attention to the human rights crisis occurring on the southern border. The tenth annual Migrant Trail: We Walk for Life is a joint endeavor of community groups and individuals from both sides of the border walking in solidarity with migrants to demand an end to the deaths in the desert.
Sponsoring groups are based in Arizona and across the
U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva is hosting a community forum on health care for women and children in Arizona.
The public is invited to join Rep. Grijalva and a panel of national and community health center experts to discuss health care reform updates and opportunities for improving the health of women and children in Arizona.
