Santa Cruz Valley school district superintendent retiring in 2014 | News
The Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District will soon be looking for a new superintendent.
Current SCVUSD Superintendent, Rodney Rich, recently turned in a letter to the SCVUSD Governing Board announcing his retirement in 2014, after ten years with the district.
According to the letter Rich is announcing his retirement early in the school year in the hopes the district will be able to make a decision about finding a new superintendent in time for the 2014-15 school year.
The SCVUSD Governing Board has called a special meeting for August 22, at 8 p.m.; the meeting will be held in the Daniel Fontes Governing Board Room at the District Office (570 Camino Lito Galindo, Rio Rico Arizona)
The meeting was called to ‘consider and take action on’ the search for a new superintendent.
