A free seminar, “How to Avoid Scams, Fraud and Identity Theft,” is slated for next month.

The seminar, presented by a joint collaboration of the Pima County / Tucson Women’s Commission and the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, will include a discussion on recognizing methods criminals use to perpetrate the latest scams and frauds, particularly targeted, but not limited to seniors.
The presentation is designed to prepare the public when a scam is encountered on the home, through the mail, via computer when offers appear to good to be true.
